Comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid, CPR certification, and AED use. For more advanced CPR training, you can also get certified in Basic Life Support Responder CPR through the Lifesaving Society.

Get the Training Employers are Looking For

As of November 2018, our new First Aid Program is Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 Equivalent. Now, when you take an updated Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid or Emergency Childcare First Aid course, it will fulfill WorkSafeBC OFA Level 1 and workplace first aid requirements for your job. This is great news for lifeguards as well. If you work on deck and have updated training, you will be able to operate as an Occupational First Aid Attendant in your workplace.

Get the Latest in Science-Based Training

Every five years, the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation reviews the latest science on first aid and resuscitation and updates treatment recommendations as necessary. The latest changes were released in April 2022. The Lifesaving Society and its fellow national training agencies reviewed the recommendations and agreed upon a consistent interpretation and consensus in the guidelines for Canada which informs the course material you receive.
