Trainer

Description: 

Trainers are responsible for preparing candidates to assume leadership roles as Lifesaving Society Instructors, Examiners, and Coaches. Trainers are responsible to teach, evaluate, and certify candidates for Lifesaving Society Instructor and Coach certifications in the topical streams in which they are appropriately qualified. They may be appointed as a Mentor.

 

PREREQUISITES

In good standing with the Branch

Successful Application

Recommended 18 years old

Recommended experience as an Instructor, examples include:

Current LSI & taught 10 Bronze Medallion or Bronze Cross courses

Current FAI & taught 8 Standard First Aid courses and 4 Standard First Aid Recertifications

Current NLI & taught 4 National Lifeguard Courses and 2 National Lifeguard Recertifications
