Overview

The BC & Yukon Branch offers a Swim Instructor Transfer course for other agency Swim Instructors to teach with the Lifesaving Society.

Prerequisites

Bronze Cross (need not be current)

YMCA Swim Instructor (Canada; current within 5 years)
Completed online Adapted Swim Instructor course prior to attending the in-person session
Canadian Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (current within 5 years); or
NCCP Swimming Teacher (current within 5 years); or
I Can Swim Teacher (Canada; current within 5 years)

Currency

2 years from certification date
