This is recreational work of an administrative and supervisory nature in managing the operations of Eileen Dailly Pool as well as programming. Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, participating in and directing recreational programs and services to meet the needs and requirements of the complex and areas served. The Recreation Centre Supervisor 1 plans, assigns, checks and supervises the work of regular and auxiliary staff engaged in recreational tasks, and hires, trains and develops staff seasonally and as required; prepares budgets, monitors expenditures; prepares and maintains a variety of records, reports, correspondence statements and related data; directs facility rental and registration procedures; promotes and maintains
effective working relationship with a variety of internal and external contacts, publicizes and promotes center programs and services; prepares and delivers talks to groups, schools, committees and others as required; assists in developing operating policies and regulations and establishes and implements new and improved work methods and procedures to ensure for the efficient and economical operations.
