In addition to spending a session working with kids of various ages in a fun and rewarding environment, Camp Goodtimes volunteers also receive training from experts in pediatric oncology and child life development.

Lifeguard Volunteer Position Description:
IRONMAN Canada Lifeguard volunteers are responsible for the recognition of an athlete in trouble in the water, signaling to other rescue personnel, and facilitating the removal of the victim to a piloted personal watercraft. The lifeguard then provides primary care while medical personnel provide immediate backup from their watercraft or on shore. Volunteers may also assist in some setup, takedown and other tasks as required.
 
Lifeguard Volunteer Perks:
Out-of-town lifeguards are being offered free accommodation at the Hostelling International in Cheakamus Crossing.
You have the best view of the swim course possible, and are right in the action!
Free entry into the volunteer party Monday, July 25th

Drowning Data Collection Volunteers Needed

The Lifesaving Society is seeking volunteers to assist us in collecting information on water related fatalities.

Volunteers should have sound reading and writing skills as you will be reviewing each drowning that occurred in BC and completing detailed questionnaires.

This is a great opportunity to enhance your knowledge on who, where, when and how people are drowning.

Mudderella is an 11km team-work based obstacle course, designed by women for predominantly female participants. Mudderella is a charitable partner to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization that make a difference in the lives of Canadians affected by breast cancer through research, education and health promotional programs coast-to-coast-to-coast.

Lifeguard and YES Staff Member - Volunteer Lifeguard Position with Honorarium

Position: Lifeguard and YES Staff Member - Current NLS Poolside required.

Volunteer for a Unique Leadership Program in BC and be trained in facilitation, communication and more.  Be part of a dynamic, dedicated and fun staff team!  This is a 7-day sleep away camp – so your boarding and food will be covered.
You can pick specific sessions, multiple sessions or for a full summer.
