The Community Services Department is recruiting for a casual on-call Lifeguard/Instructor I.
Tasks include lifesaving functions and lesson instruction, including specialized areas. Added responsibilities involve performing basic maintenance functions and customer service.
The successful candidate must be 17 years or older and have successfully completed courses in lifesaving, swimming instruction and first aid. Previous experience as a Lifeguard and Instructor is preferred.
Required Licenses and Certificates include: Red Cross Water Safety Instructor; National Lifeguard Service Certificate (Pool Option and Water Park Option); CPR Level C; Automated External Defibrillation; and Standard First Aid (or equivalent).
The successful candidate is required to supply a criminal record check and a copy of their credentials.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and must be available to attend a mandatory wet screening session on Thursday August 14th from 12:30-4:30pm.
