Head Lifeguard (full-time)

  • Plans and delivers swimming lessons and lifesaving courses and performs light maintenance as per the job descriptions of Aquatics I, II & III staff
  • Reports on thedaily operationrequirementsof the Aquatic Programs and facility maintenance requirements includingsafety, pool filtration and water treatment supplies and equipment, to the Aquatic Program Coordinator or Maintenance staff
  • Coordinatesshift changes and sick-time reliefby ensuring all changes are recorded and posted
  • Plansand delivers staff in-servicetraining in accordance with the pool safety plan
  • Coordinates response, follow-up and reporting in emergency situations
  • Performs maintenance duties such as hosing, mopping and glass cleaning
  • Maintain professional and technical requirements for the position
  • Performs related duties as required
