Emergency First Aid Child & Residential Care

Description: 

Emergency First Aid Child & Residential Care is a WorkSafeBC Occupational Level 1 equivalent and can be used in the workplace. This program is designed for those working in the child care, home care or residential care industry. Program length and content meets the requirements as outlined by the Ministry of Health for child and residential care workers. This course includes CPR C that will equip candidates to respond to adult, child and infants emergencies.

None
Instructional Time: 

The recommended course length for Emergency Child Care First Aid is 8 hours based on a class of 12 candidates

Recognition: 

Emergency First Aid Child & Residential Care with CPR C/AED (OFA Level 1 equivalent) certification card.

 

Currency: 

Certification is valid for 3 years from date of issue.
