FAI Bridges Program

The FAI Bridges program allows First Aid Instructors who have not attended an FAI Recert clinic in over three years to recertify. Contact the Branch office if you are interesting in doing the FAI Bridges program.

Any First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer who is within 5 years from the date of issue can recertify by attending a First Aid Instructor Recert clinic.

Any First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer who is within 5-10 years from the date of issue can recertify by completing the following steps:

  • Take the First Aid Instructor full course (32 hours) or short course (16 hours) again (to include recertifying prerequisite courses if applicable, purchase a full FAI Kit at the time of registration and complete the apprenticeship requirements).

Any First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer who is more than 10 years past the date of issue will be required to take the First Aid Instructor full course (32 hours) again.
