Blue Flag Safety Audit

The Blue Flag program outlines the criteria required to become  a disgnated Blue Flag beach.  As part of this criteria each beach must have a safety audit completed by the Lifesaving Society. The safety audit will take into account factors like size of the beach, number of visitors and the risks present.

The recommendations will include safety measures and other recommendations required to minimize risk to the beach user.  In order to qualify for Blue Flag the beach is requried to to follow the recommendations of the audit.
