Standard First Aid Recert
Recertification of Standard First Aid is achieved by attending an SFA Recert Clinic.
Candidates should bring their pocket mask, Canadian First Aid Manual and previous SFA certification card to class.

SFA Recert should be a minimum of 8 hours, regardless of class size.
Successful candidates that have shown all pre-requisites will be issued a temporary certification card on the last day of course. A permanent certification card will be mailed within 60 days. Please contact us if the temporary card has expired and the permanent card has not been received.
Standard First Aid is current for 3 years. Candidates may recertify any time.
If it has been more then 5 years since last recertification, it is recommended, but not required to attend a full SFA course.
Note: If candidate is doing NLS they MUST have completed SFA within the past two years.
All Standard First Aid items are re-evaluated.
