Job Description: 

National Trainers are current Instructor Trainers who actively teach in two (2) or more streams, have a heart to mentor and are willing to commit to the National Trainer job description (attached).  National Trainers will be delivering the Trainer course (formerly the Instructor Trainer course) which is moving away from being stream-specific. Our goal is to have a minimum of one National Trainer in each of our six (6) regions.

National Trainer Application Process:

To apply to become a National Trainer, submit a resume and cover letter outlining your interest in the position, how you currently contribute to your region and how you wish to contribute to the work of leadership development during your term as a National Trainer.

National Trainer Selection Process:

  1. Application is received by due date
  2. Applications will be reviewed by a panel
  3. Selected applicants will be interviewed
  4. Candidates for National Trainer will be selected base on: eligibility, successful interview and Branch operational needs
  5. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in the National Trainer course
  6. Successful candidates will be appointed for a period of 24 months
