First Aid

First aid training enables you to deal with injuries and medical emergencies at home, work or play. The Lifesaving Society offers three levels of training: Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid and Aquatic Emergency Care. Click on each level below for more information. All Lifesaving Society first aid training is consistent with standards established by Health Canada.

Since 1994, the DB Perks & Associates & Lifesaving Society Scholarship Program has been helping eligible lifeguards and instructors pursue post secondary education in BC and the Yukon. Apply for 1 of 4 $500 scholarships - applications - are due January 31, 2011
